At our nursery we are very proud of the high standards we maintain in our kitchen and the quality of our freshly cooked meals. All food is prepared by our qualified cook on a daily basis and our kitchen has been awarded a 4 star rating by the local Environmental Health Department.

Children of this age need regular meals and snacks which are full of nutrients, and we also want them to avoid ingredients which might do them harm (like too much salt or too much sugar). To ensure children are able to experience a wide variety of tastes and recipes we change our menus every three months. This also means we can cater for the seasons and use seasonal products in our recipes. We obtain the majority of our menus from the Caroline Walker Trust who specialise in ensuring meals are nutritious and age appropriate.
We also take into account parental views as well as dietary and religious requirements, and can adapt our menus to suit the individual needs of your children.

Snacks – Fresh fruit and digestive biscuits, Bread sticks, cheese spread and cucumber, Toasted English muffin and apple slices, Fruit and Pancakes, Pitta Bread, Hummus and Cucumber, Yoghurt and Berries.
Lunches – Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Carrots and Cabbage, Sweet Potato Macaroni and Cheese with Broccoli, Chicken and Sweet potato curry and Rice, Chicken Casserole, Potatoes and Broccoli, Turkey Chilli and Rice, Vegetable Pasta Bake and Garlic Bread, Butternut Squash Risotto and Broccoli.
Puddings – Carrot Cake, Bread and Butter Pudding and custard, Raisin and Oatmeal Cookies, Rhubarb and Ginger Cake, Apple Pie and Cream, Banana Flapjack, Lemon Drizzle Cake.
Teas – Vegetable Pizza, Vegetable Soup and Bread Rolls, Potato Wedges, Mozzarella and Orange Slices, Chicken Goujons, Salad and French Bread, Pate on Toast, Bagels and Cream Cheese.
