Find us on Facebook.
We now have our own nursery Facebook page where we welcome your comments and reviews. We hope to share some of the fun things we do at nursery with you all.
Please note to safeguard all our children we will not be putting identifiable photos of any children on our Facebook page and we ask that parents do the same.
Hopefully this page can grow with us, allowing us to share ideas between parents and nursery.
The time is quickly approaching for some of our children to leave nursery and go off to school. Whilst we are sad to see them go we know this is just the next part of their adventure and we are confident we have set them up with the skills to be Ready to Learn!
Here are a couple of links if you would like some more information about helping your child to be ready for school along with some fun activities for you to do together:
We are looking forward to seeing some of our children graduate this July
In preparation for our re-naming day this coming Saturday our new signs went up this morning! We are sure you agree they look very smart and provide the first appearance of our new logo.
Again we hope you can come and join us on Saturday 29th from 10-2pm.
With our new Ofsted report under our belt, confirming the quality service we provide, we feel it is time to shake off the bad reputation that the previous owners had managed to inflict on the nursery once and for all. We have ordered our new signs and are holding an open day to officially become LITTLE POTTERS DAY NURSERY on 29th August 2015. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to this special day to celebrate with us from 10am to 2pm. Laura and Ceri have lots of things planned for this big day i.e. stalls, face painting and games. Any other suggestions please feel free to pass them on. All money raised from this event will be used to develop the garden as this is our next big project!
This year’s graduation will be held on August 7th at 2pm. We are making the most of the lovely weather (hopefully) and will be holding the ceremony in the nursery garden. The Pre-school Room have already started to prepare for this special occasion and you will be receiving your official invite shortly if your child is in this room, or leaving us from the Tot’s Room to go to school in September. Having looked after many of these children from babies we are sure that we will shed a few tears as we say goodbye and wish you all the best as you start your school adventure.
We look forward to seeing you all there for this special day.

Our New Doorway
We now have a lovely new doorway between our Out of School Club Rooms and our Pre-school Rooms on the top floor of the nursery. The building work was completed over the Easter Holidays by A.P Building and Roofing Specialists and now means that during the day when the older children are at school the pre-schoolers and two year olds who are going to school in September can use the Out of School Club rooms for creative and teaching activities. This simple addition of a doorway will provide us with a free flow of activities for the children across the rooms helping us to get the children “school ready”.
